My daughter of 2 years & 9 months old - just started K1. Actually, I feel regret to let her study in K1 so early but my husband is eager to let her to started K1 this year.
I want to arrange her to re-study K1 in 2011 again. But someone suggest we better observe her ability & let the kindergarden to decide it. I don't much confidence in the school to fix this. To my expression, the Principle will prefer her to promote unless my daughter has a lot of problems later.
Besides, she can speak Canontese (but don't know English) fluently. If I let her re-study, I will let her study in the English group instead of Canontese group. On the other hand,if let her to promote to K2, I just keep her in Canontese class. Could you comment
Any suggestion. Tks in advance.
Why you need to regret? My son was born in Nov, 2006 and he is now K2. He enjoys school so much that he tells me in the morning that "mommy, I really like going to school..." then I said 'why you like it so much?' then he said 'there are many children...', I said 'oh, there are many children playing with you, you have met many good friends...' ,he happily nodded his head...
Well, small BB may not be as good as the big BB in the beginning, but if they are with good teachers, happy school environment, they are the same very soon.
