I'll definitely switch my son to another school. When a kid is being rejected and ignored all the time, he'd not only lose confidence, but also lose passion in learning and the ability to love, care and build relationships. I think it is a good opportunity to let the son understand the reality of the world, although it is much sooner than it should be. Running away from problem without trying your best to resolve it is not an ideal attitude to life. Secondly, I basically have some kind of trust in kindergartens in Hong Kong which the quality cannot be that terrible in general as this is a regulated industry. If I were the parents, I would try to set up some playdates with my son's classmates to help him networking. And I would actively volunteer to help on school activities to show supports to teachers and the school before I ask the school for this or that. If that really doesn't work, I would let my son to go to the new school and old school simultaneously to minimize the impact due to changes to ensure a smooth transition before removing him from the old school. So, I prefer to try to stay first.
